2.3 tranny swap 07 mercury milan help needed!!

Got the tranny attached but the dang clutch just sinks to the floor when touched, no pressure at all...no leaking from master, new slave...seems that the slave is too long and its fully pressed against the fork....ive detached re attached multiple times n its getting freaking annoying...clutch was good before my tranny went so idk what could be the issue

It might be the master that is failing.

But i have no leaks...??? Im really thinking i messwd something up on the first time detaching from engine, it was kinda rough but nothing crazy on the install and removal what could it be tho??

And to bleed the system i have to manually depress the slave to do it....like the way it the fork sits on slave is almost like the fork is gonna depress the slave not the otherwsy around thays why im stuck here scratching mybhead

I know this is a silly question but you are sure the lines aren't reversed correct?

Yes my brakes work, n which likes the lines for hydraulics? Yes they are all correct
