Head light upgrade to LED model year 2016

Has anyone upgraded the halogen headlight bulbs to some of the new LED bulb replacement options. I drive a lot at night and would like to increase the visibility but also increase the life, because it is so difficult to change the bulbs on this car and the LED's can last a long long time.

Why not just go to HID?

If you can afford, I also suggest HID. It's a lot better than LED's.

I was talking to the owner of a local stereo shop that carries led bulbs. He said not to put them in projector headlights, they won?t work right.

I had led in projector headlamps on my previous vehicle. Worked good

Why not?

I would suggest led over his because led are more reliable, tend to be cheaper. Also the new LEDs on the market are really bright. Aftermarket ones now are really good. Value for the dollar here in Canada I would suggest motomaster from Canadian tire about 89 or 99.00 a set and they just plug and play. I tried a set in my Yukon that had projector lights and they worked fine. Even minus 30 or 40 celcius never had a problem in the years I had that vehicle.

I bought LED headlight bulbs for my 19 Fusion here. https://www.vleds.com/ I’ve bought from this company over the past 7 years. I never had an issue. I got the micro extreme bulbs. They are super bright. The fit is super tight. I had to adjust the headlights pointing down as far as the could go to get the bulbs in. I have large hands and it was extremely difficult.
