Hello, my ac fan stopped working yesterday. I can feel cold air, but the fan isn't blowing when turned up. I checked the fuse and it looked fine. I removed the fuse, put it back in, and unplugged the two large black connectors by the fuse box. Put it all back together, turned on the car, and it worked.
Thoughts?
Is my blower motor going out?
Is the car ok to drive? Not sure if other fans are connected to this.
Anything else I can easily check? Relay? Etc?
My car is under warranty, but it's a pain to get work done at the places that I can go. (2 dealers, 30 minutes away.) But if it's the motor, my deductible is only $100.
Any advice would be appreciated!
Edit, now my check engine light is on. "Cooling fan 1 control circuit open" is the code I'm getting.
Is this safe to drive on? The ac fan is on, but will my car over heat now?
Edit, now the light went off, but the code is still there.
