I'm new to this site and this is my first post. I have a 2010 Fusion Hybrid, which I bought new in November 2009 and is by far the best car I've ever owned. It just turned over 130,000 miles. I've tracked it and my mileage has averaged over 42 mpg combined for those 130,000 miles.
Recently, the rear park assist speaker began sounding extremely loud and now is silent. I'm fairly certain the speaker blew. It is now showing two error messages at start-up for the BLIS and Rear Park Assist. I have researched these error messages and believe the bad speaker is causing the problem.
I've found the part online, but can't find anything showing the location or installation instructions. This is the only vehicle I've ever owned that I haven't got a Shop Manual or Parts Manual for. Shame on me. So, I came looking for a forum to get an answer...
Has anyone here replaced that speaker and can give me some instruction? Any help will be appreciated.
